Handgun II.

 

This course reinforces the fundamentals, various shooting positions, reloads, malfunction drills, movement, shooting from cover, and engaging close proximity targets will be covered.

 

Course outline:

 

I. Handgun safety rules

 

II. The tactical mindset and the levels of awareness

 

a. Condition white, yellow, orange, red, and Black

 

III. Principles of personal defense

 

a. Alertness

b. Decisiveness

c. Aggressiveness

d. Speed

e. Coolness

f. Planning

 

IV. Levels of competence

 

a. Unconsciously incompetent

b. Consciously incompetent

c. Consciously competent

d. Unconsciously competent

 

V. Methods of incapacitation

 

a. The computer (brain)

b. Power plant (vital organs)

 

There will be many scenario exercises, real life situations. This class is active dress accordingly.

 

What you will need: 100 rounds of ammunition, holster, and at least two magazines.
