This course is designed to continue developing tactical skills needed in a shooting situation.

 

 What will be covered:

 

1. Firearms safety rules

 

2. Cover and Concealment

 

3. Rules of Close-quarters combat

 

4. Basic weapon retention

 

  a. Basic retention of a holstered weapon

  b. Basic retention of a drawn weapon

 

5. Basics of low light environment

 

  a. Dusk

  b. Semidarkness

  c. Darkness

  d. Complete darkness

 

6. Flashlight techniques

 

  a. Attached flashlight

  b. The harries technique

  c. The chapman method

  d. Tactical use of the flashlight

 

7. Emergency and tactical reload

 

8. Clearing a weapon malfunction

 

What you will need:

 

Minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition, holster, flashlight, two magazines, and comfortable range attire. This is an active class.
